Compared with asynchronous motors, permanent magnet synchronous motors are relatively simple, with reduced stator current and stator resistance losses, measurable rotor parameters, and good control performance. However, the maximum torque is restricted by permanent magnet demagnetization, poor seismic capacity, and high The shortcomings of limited speed, low power, high cost and difficult starting.
The permanent magnet synchronous motor has high power density, high reliability, high power factor, high speed range, good speed control performance, and a wide speed range. The permanent magnet synchronous motor has no excitation loss and heat dissipation problems, the motor structure is simple, and the volume is smaller than the asynchronous motor of the same power.
Therefore, permanent magnet synchronous motor has become one of the important development directions of motor drive technology.
