Save energy and reduce long-term operating costs

The motor system energy saving project is listed as one of the 1150 key energy saving projects in China, and it is the key area of national energy saving and emission reduction work. In the context of energy saving and emission reduction, mandatory standards and incentive policies determine that high-efficiency and energy-saving motors will replace traditional low-efficiency motors in the future. High-efficiency and energy-saving motors adopt new motor designs, new technologies and new materials to improve the output efficiency of the motor by reducing the loss of electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical energy.
Compared with ordinary standard motors, the energy-saving effect of using high-efficiency and energy-saving motors is very obvious. Generally, the average energy consumption is reduced by about 10%, and the efficiency can be increased by about 4%. Expert analysis shows that in the entire life cycle of the motor, the purchase price accounts for 2% of the total cost of the motor, the maintenance cost accounts for 0.7 of the total cost, and the energy consumption cost accounts for 97.3. Therefore, considering the entire life cycle of the motor, that is, from the design and manufacture of the motor to the selection, operation, adjustment, maintenance and scrapping of the motor, a high-efficiency and energy-saving motor can save energy for the factory. Reducing life cycle operating costs, improving production efficiency, reducing environmental pollution, reducing energy consumption, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions are conducive to the sustainable development of the factory. In short, the effect of energy saving can be sustained throughout the life cycle of machines and equipment.
Rapid recovery investment costs and huge economic potential
Energy-saving and high-efficiency motors are very suitable for textiles, fans, pumps, and compressors. It can recoup the cost of the motor purchase by saving electricity for about two years. For example, a Y2-132M-4 motor with a rated power of 7.5kW and an energy efficiency class of 3 is replaced by a YX3-132M-4 motor with a rated power and an energy efficiency class of 2. Its performance indicators are shown in the figure. In Table 1, according to the formula, the unit power saving is 7.5(1 / 0.87-1/0.901)1=0.2966kw/H, and the investment cost recovery rate can be calculated.
The use of high-efficiency motors has obvious energy-saving effects. Generally, all the investment in renewing the motor can be recovered within 1 to 2 years. The service life of motor equipment, such as transformers, can last for decades. Replacing high-energy-consuming motors with high-efficiency motors can not only improve energy conversion efficiency, but also achieve remarkable results in energy saving and power saving, providing a huge driving force for the long-term development of the factory. In order to promote the backward and inefficient motors to withdraw from the market and guide the existing motor enterprises to gradually transform and produce efficient motors, the national and local governments have taken measures to formulate and promulgate corresponding policies to encourage the development of energy-saving and efficient motors.
